The Malting Company of Ireland were delighted to sponsor and attend another fantastic event hosted by the Chartered Institute of Brewers and Distillers (CIBD) in Athlone.

The AGM was extremely well organised and provided a great opportunity to connect with industry colleagues in an engaging setting. It was wonderful to catch up with familiar faces, meet new contacts, and share insights with others across the brewing and distilling community. Events like this offer not only plenty of great craic, but also valuable opportunities to strengthen relationships and stay connected with developments across the sector.

A particular highlight of the day was the brewery tour at Dead Centre Brewing, which was both informative and thoroughly enjoyable. It was great to see the operation up close and to hear more from Liam about the passion and expertise behind the brewery.

Gatherings like this play an important role in supporting collaboration, professional development, and the continued growth of the industry and the people behind it.

A huge well done to the organisers for delivering such a successful and memorable event, and congratulations to all those who were awarded certificates for completing their industry diplomas and continued learning!
